What is an EdCafe?
An EdCafe brings together a small group of people – small or large – for a conversation about education. It typically lasts from one to two hours. One person facilitates, helping to keep the discussion moving and making sure people’s ideas are recorded and forwarded to the Ministry of Education. The facilitator also ensures that everyone participates as equals, and everyone has a chance to be heard.

What’s an EDCHAT?
An EDCHAT brings a group of students together – either in person or online – to chat about education. You may have heard about BC’s Education Plan. It is a framework for transforming education. EDCHATS are a way to talk about the plan, provide ideas to the Ministry of Education and to start helping us realise its potential.
